Explosive Trio at helm of Croatian U17 National Squad
The Croatian National U17
Football team is beginning their qualifying games for the 2013/14 UEFA European
Under-17 Championship which we ne played in Malta next year.
The squad is situated in a
"group of death", namely with Spain, France and Belgium.
Nonetheless, the "Mini
Vatreni" have a midfield trio that is said to be one of the best in U17 European football today, therefore keep an eye on the following players:
Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Alen
Halilović, Hajduk Split right winger Josip Bašić and Red Bull Salzburg attacking midfielder Ante
Roguljić.
The Sun posted that Arsene Wenger was ready to pay £1.5million for the
attacking midfielder back in November, 2012 when he was still at NK Adriatic
Split.

"Luka Modric will improve by end of February", Croatia coach says.
The 27-year-old, who was a key component at Spurs between 2008 and 2012, has struggled after switching to the La Liga giants last summer.
Real are yet to see the best from Modric this campaign, despite spending £33m on securing his signature from White Hart Lane.
The Croatian has made 26 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side, but his national team boss Stimac - who played for Derby County and West Ham during his playing career - has insisted Modric will improve."I said at the start of the season that he wouldn't be at his best until the end of February," Stimac told Spanish paper Marca.
"It was to be expected when you consider that he had to get into top physical shape which, without a pre-season, he didn't have.
"Now, at the end of the month, you'll see an improvement. He's grown stronger from playing matches and training."
Stimac claims that his star player is adapting to a different style of football at club level in Spain, and deserves patience from the Madridistas.
"You have to remember that he is adapting to a different kind of football than he played in England," insisted Stimac.
"In Spain, the style is quicker and maybe he needs to get into his stride. In England, he was a player who was feared by the opposition. He's got a lot of talent but maybe he's showing a tad too much respect for everyone.
"He's been surprised by how fast the game is in Spain."

Inter Milan Coach praises Mateo Kovacic debut
Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has praised midfield starlet Mateo Kovacic for his performance in last night's 2-0 win over CFR Cluj.
The Nerazzurri triumphed at the San Siro thanks to a brace from Rodrigo Palacio, and are now in control of their Europa League last-32 tie ahead of next week's return leg in Romania.
The Croatian was making his first start since joining the club from Dinamo Zagreb during the January transfer window.
"Kovacic is clearly a player with great quality and everyone can see why we invested in him," Football Italia quotes the 37-year-old as saying.
"He immediately realised what I wanted from him, to be a deep-lying playmaker. He is a humble lad and it's up to me to help him settle."
Kovacic cost Inter £12.9m.
